Emerging topics and basic research findings across all sectors of geographic information science. The conference attracts leading GIScience researchers from all fields to reflect the interdisciplinary breadth of GIScience, including cognitive science, computer science, engineering, geography, information science, mathematics, philosophy, psychology, social science, and statistics. As GIScience focuses on advances in the fundamentals of Geographic Information Science, submission of GIS application papers is discouraged.
