The aim of ECS10 is to bring together leading scientists working in the areas of (but not limited to)

  • Shape analysis

with particular attention to applications to

  • Biology and Medicine
  • Biotechnology
  • Agriculture
  • Materials
  • Tomography, X-ray Scanner, PET-scan?
  • High Resolution Imaging in Remote Sensing
  • Vision, industrial control, real time aspects, electronic architectures

  • Secure Information Systems
  • research areas of Applied and Industrial Mathematics

SUBMISSION AND REVIEW

The authors are requested to submit an abstract of their contribution following the instructions on the web site of the conference. Contributions may be either original or already published; it has to be specified clearly during submission. Original submissions are highly encouraged.

  • Authors accepted for an oral presentation will be invited to provide a contributed paper, 6 pages long, for the conference proceedings (All contributed papers will be submitted to peer review.);
  • Authors accepted for a poster will be invited to provide an extended abstract, 2 pages long, for the conference proceedings.

Authors of the best 10%-20% of the papers presented at the conference will be encouraged to submit an extended version of their papers for possible publication in the Journal of Image Analysis and Stereology.

  • Notification of the acceptance of abstracts: October 20, 2008
  • Early registration: November 30, 2008
  • Submission of papers: December 31, 2008
  • End of the reviewing process: February 28, 2009
  • Camera ready papers: March 27, 2009
  • Conference programme: April 20, 2009
