- Sensor Sensor Communication: One Sensor sends message to one Sensor/ all Sensor
- Sensor Phenomenon Communication: One Sensor sends a measurement request message to a phenomenon
- New Sensor / New Phenomenon : new component of sensor oder phenomenon in the system
